Study data saved to your account
When you are signed in, your study profile (name, chosen exam, class, daily goal and exam date), the answers you give, and your Revise decks are saved on our server under your account, so your progress is there on every device you sign in on. A working copy is also kept in this browser using IndexedDB or local storage, so practice keeps going on a poor connection. We use this data only to run the product for you: to show your progress, schedule revision and choose what to study next. We do not sell it and do not use it for advertising.
Account sign-in data
Our server stores your name, email and, if you link Google, a Google account identifier. Older accounts may also retain a salted password hash for compatibility, although the current sign-in screen does not request a password. We use this information to authenticate you and protect your account. A requested email sign-in link proves control of that inbox; Google verifies its identity and email claims. We do not receive your Google password, request access to Gmail or Drive, or retain Google access or refresh tokens. Magic-link tokens are stored only as hashes, expire after 15 minutes and work once. We set an essential HttpOnly session cookie; authenticated sessions expire after seven days. Anonymous sign-in cookies expire after one day, and incomplete Google sign-in transactions after five minutes. Signing out revokes the current server session. Study progress and Plus access follow your account.
Data used for billing
If you start Plus, our billing service receives the name and email you provide, a random billing reference generated by your browser and kept with your account, and Stripe customer/subscription identifiers and status. We use these only to create checkout, grant access, provide billing support, prevent trial abuse, handle cancellation and refunds, and meet accounting/legal obligations.
Stripe and other providers
Stripe processes checkout and payment details under its own privacy terms. Card or UPI credentials are entered on Stripe and are not received by TopperCrew. Google processes Google sign-in. When you request an email sign-in link, Resend processes your email address and the message only to deliver that link. Our hosting provider necessarily processes limited security and request logs such as IP address, request time and user agent. We do not use advertising trackers or sell personal data.
Retention and security
Account records and saved study data remain while your account exists; you can request access, correction or deletion through our support address. Clearing browser data does not delete a server account or the study data saved to it. Billing records are kept while a subscription is active and afterwards only as needed for support, fraud prevention, tax, accounting and legal obligations. Access is restricted and secrets are kept server-side. No internet service can promise absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can export your study data from Profile. Clearing this site's browser data removes only the copy kept in that browser; your account, saved progress and Plus are unaffected, and erasing browser data does not cancel a subscription. For account, study-data or billing-data access, correction or deletion requests, email us. Some invoice and transaction records may need to be retained by law. You can withdraw from future processing by cancelling Plus; cancellation does not affect processing already lawfully completed.
Students under 18
Students may use the free practice tools. A parent or legal guardian must approve any purchase and should contact us for a child's billing-data request. Do not submit another person's email or payment method without permission.
Changes
Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. We will use additional notice where required.
